Carry out carpentry, joinery, repair and refurbishment work throughout guest, crew and operational areas of the vessel.
Key responsibilities
- Repair doors, furniture, cabinetry, wall panels, flooring and wooden fixtures
- Manufacture or modify timber components as required
- Support cabin and public-area refurbishment and defect rectification
- Use woodworking machinery and hand tools safely
- Assist with dry-dock and refit projects
- Maintain workshop, tools and materials to a high standard
You’ll bring
- Professional carpentry or joinery experience
- Cruise ship, yacht or passenger vessel experience preferred
- Strong furniture, cabinetry and interior repair skills
- The ability to achieve a high-quality finish in guest-facing areas
- STCW certification, medical fitness and good English
