A luxury ocean cruise line is hiring a Public Health Officer to safeguard the health of guests and crew onboard — overseeing sanitation, food safety and hygiene standards across the ship and keeping every department ready for public health inspections.
You’ll bring
- Proven experience in a public health, food safety or sanitation role, ideally in premium or 5-star hospitality
- Strong knowledge of Public Health policies and food safety standards
- Experience working with and training multicultural teams
- Fluent English with excellent spoken and written communication; an additional language is an advantage
- A flexible, detail-oriented and stress-resistant approach
- Open to Malaysian and Singaporean applicants only (client requirement)
What you’ll do
- Monitor sanitation and hygiene standards across galleys, restaurants and public areas
- Conduct regular inspections and prepare the ship for public health audits
- Train crew on food safety, hygiene and illness-prevention procedures
- Keep accurate public health records and logs
