Lead the people function for a fast-growing halal quick-service restaurant chain in Petaling Jaya, reporting to the General Manager — covering recruitment, HR operations, employee development, performance and culture across an expanding store network.
What you’ll do
- Build recruitment pipelines for store managers, supervisors, kitchen and front-of-house crew
- Design onboarding and job-specific training, including halal compliance training
- Run performance management — KPIs, reviews, improvement plans and recognition programmes
- Handle employee relations, engagement and grievances fairly and confidentially
- Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration and the compensation structure
- Maintain HR records and keep policies compliant with the Employment Act 1955, EPF, SOCSO and EIS
- Support the annual halal certification audit from an HR perspective
You’ll bring
- Hands-on full-spectrum HR experience
- Able to work independently and take ownership of HR matters
- Energetic, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of Malaysian employment law, EPF, SOCSO and EIS
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Fast food, retail or hospitality experience is an advantage
- Halal compliance knowledge is an advantage
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to store locations
