A busy satay restaurant in Kuala Lumpur is hiring Kitchen Helpers / Cooks for its grill kitchen preparing, marinating and grilling chicken, beef and lamb satay, making the sauces and keeping the kitchen running smoothly. Salary starts from RM 2,000, based on skills and experience.
You’ll bring
- Experience as a kitchen helper or cook (required by the client)
- Good spoken Malay and English; basic Mandarin is an advantage
- Comfortable with ingredient prep, marinating and grilling
- Able to keep the kitchen clean and help with stock checking
- Available for shifts between 11am and 11pm
- No minimum education requirement
What’s provided
- Overtime at RM15 per hour (up to 4 hours a day)
- 1–2 off days a week and 8+ holidays a year
- Duty meals, uniform and allowance
