Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth wine service operations in the dining area, maintaining proper stock levels and setup.
  • Possess strong knowledge of international wines, wine list selections, beverages, and provide professional recommendations to guests.
  • Support revenue targets by promoting wines, upselling appropriately, and assisting with wine events and tastings.
  • Assist the Head Sommelier with daily preparation, inventory control, requisitions, and organization of the wine cellar.
  • Ensure accurate stock control, proper charging procedures, and maintain glasses, utensils, and equipment in excellent condition.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, uniform standards, and Public Health regulations while maintaining high service quality.

Qualifications

  • This role is open to Malaysian/Singaporean citizen only.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a 4–5-star hotel or premium hospitality environment (upscale / fine-dining restaurants).
  • Good English fluency (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
