Keep Regent Seven Seas looking its best, handling all onboard tailoring: guest garment repairs, suite soft-furnishings and the alteration and upkeep of officer, staff and crew uniforms.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair and alter guest garments, and mend suite curtains, bed skirts and soft furnishings
  • Alter and maintain officer, staff and crew uniforms, and follow up on drapes and fabrics shipwide
  • Work with the Linen Keeper on uniform washing and dry-cleaning issues
  • Keep inventory of tailoring and uniform equipment and advise the Chief Housekeeper of supplies, shortages or damage
  • Keep the tailor workshop clean and tidy

You’ll bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a tailor, plus 2 years in the hospitality field
  • Strong garment repair, alteration and soft-furnishing skills
  • A valid STCW certificate (as required for shipboard roles)
  • Good spoken English, reliability and attention to detail
  • Able to work onboard for extended periods
