Minimum any Professional Certificates in Culinary Art or related field or,
Minimum five years of experience as an Assistant Butcher or similar position in 4-5-star hotel and premium restaurant (upscale restaurant); basic culinary & knife handling skills are required.
Fluent in English, addtional languages is an advantage.
Knowledge of Microsoft programs
Previous cruises industry experience is preferred.
Responsibility
Demonstrate advanced butchering techniques for various meats and possess a thorough understanding of meat handling and preparation.
Manage inventory, control food costs and waste, and ensure compliance with USPH regulations.
Supervise and delegate tasks to assigned personnel, ensuring efficient operations.
Conduct portion control reviews and ensure adherence to HACCP procedures.
Recommend improvements and better cost control measures.
Report for duty on time, follow supervisor's instructions, and maintain a professional appearance.
