Dry Cleaning Specialist

Qualifications

Minimum any Secondary School Certificate of Education or equivalent certificate in any field.
Have three years of experience as Washer/Dry Cleaning Specialist or similar position at 4-5-star hotel, within a laundry environment, and a minimum two years plus experience in a shipboard washing department.
Specialized expertise in stain removal & various types of fabrics.
Good ability to operate washers and dryers
Fluent in English, addtional languages is an advantage

Responsibility

Responsible for the care of delicate fabrics & stain removal on dry-cleaning items and ironing delicate garments.
Maintain dry-cleaning machinery including oil levels, chemical changes, daily inspections and the
Regularly inspect safety devices by testing the steam, water & air valves.
Monitor the chemical inventory daily and report findings to the Laundry Master.
Correctly handle cleaning products, materials and laundry equipment, separate & remove garbage and place it in designated containers.
