Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts,
  • Minimum five years of experience as an Chef de Partie or similar position in 4-5-star hotel and premium restaurant (upscale restaurant); advanced culinary & knife handling skills are required.
  • Good understanding of food handling procedures and specifications.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft programs
  • Fluent in English, addtional languages is an advantage.
  • Experienced in coaching subordinates.
  • Previous cruises industry experience is preferred.
  • Ensure team adherence to company standards, provide training, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Conduct food tastings, monitor quality, and address any discrepancies.
  • Monitor production levels, prepare requisitions, and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Mentor, counsel, and support subordinates to boost morale and ensure fair treatment.
  • Seek direction when needed, communicate effectively, and report issues or discrepancies.
