Materials Officer

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma in Finance/Accounting or equivalent certificate in related field.
Have two years of experience at 4-5-star hotel in purchasing.
Fluent in English, addtional languages is an advantage
Knowledge of Microsoft programs & Purchasing System (preferably Moreton Bay).

Responsibility

Identify and source suppliers for materials and supplies, ensuring competitive pricing and quality.
Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and implement effective inventory control systems.
Place purchase orders, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Manage costs associated with materials and supplies, identifying opportunities for savings.
Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
Prepare and analyze reports on material usage, costs, and supplier performance.
