Tailor / Linenkeeper

Qualifications

Minimum any Secondary School Certificates of Education or equivalent certificate in any field.
Minimum one year of experience as Storekeeper in 4-5-star hotel and premium restaurant.
Previous cruise experience is preferable.
Excellent skills in tailoring operations.
Basic knowledge of storeroom operations and storing procedures.
Fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages is an advantage.

Responsibility

Repair any torn or damaged linen for the Hotel Department; repair minor damages on curtains and
Repair and make alterations to guests’ clothing; make alterations to company issued uniforms, as
Ensure that all threads, buttons, needles etc. are maintained at par levels, at all times and order
Regenerate replacement linen from soiled and damaged items, for example, cleaning rags from
Carry out repairs on soft furnishings to extend the life of such items, where possible.
Assist with all linen inventories, and with issuing and checking Steward supplies.
