Assistant Pastry

Qualifications

Minimum any Professional Certificates in Culinary Art or related field or,
Good in Pastry skills
Minimum two years of experience as an Assistant Pastry or similar position in 4-5-star hotel and premium restaurant (upscale restaurant).
Fluent in English, addtional languages is an advantage.
Knowledge of Microsoft programs
Previous cruises industry experience is preferred.

Responsibility

Assist the Pastry Chef in producing pastries on time and to company standards.
Prepare basic pastry items, demonstrate knowledge of culinary techniques, and understand recipes.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and complete tasks efficiently.
Produce high-quality pastries that meet standards in taste, presentation, and appearance.
Report any issues or discrepancies to the Chef de Partie.
Adhere to public health regulations and ensure the pastry area is ready for inspections.
