Minimum Diploma in Hospitality or Graduate of a recognized hotel or business school.
Minimum five years of experience as Hotel General Manager in 4-5-star hotel or Cruise Ships.
Strong written & verbal skills in English.
Proficiency in the use of computer-based programs
Plan and oversee all Entertainment/Shop’s/Concessionaire’s/Food and Beverage (F&B) events with
respective Department Heads.
Plan, and manage cruise layouts together with respective Department Heads and ensure that
execution is accurate and efficient, in line with Viking’s Star Service Standards.
Oversee the management and control of sales of shore excursions, future cruises and tour dispatches.
Ensure the absolute cleanliness and order of the vessel, in accordance with all Public Health Policies and Procedures.
Ensure cost control and adhere to set budgets by overseeing the entire ship’s on-board finances. This includes but not limited to inventories, forecasts, purchase orders and the ship’s accounts.
Oversee and manage the vessel clearance and dis/embarkation, the vacation planning and internal promotions for the entire Hotel Department, together with Departments Heads and the HR Manager.
