Assist with the operation, maintenance and repair of HVAC, ventilation and refrigeration systems serving guest, crew and operational areas.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with planned maintenance of air-handling units, fan coils, fans, pumps and associated HVAC equipment
- Clean filters, coils, drains and ventilation components
- Support troubleshooting of cabin and public-area temperature or airflow defects
- Assist with compressor, refrigeration and chilled-water equipment maintenance as directed
- Record operating readings and report abnormal conditions
- Maintain tools, parts and safe work areas
You’ll bring
- Previous HVAC, refrigeration or air-conditioning experience
- Marine or cruise vessel experience preferred
- A basic understanding of refrigeration cycles and HVAC equipment
- A relevant trade qualification is advantageous
- STCW certification, medical fitness and good English
