Maintain and repair hotel-side electrical equipment and installations serving guest cabins, public areas, entertainment spaces and hotel operations.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to electrical defects in guest cabins, corridors and public spaces
- Maintain lighting, sockets, switches, small distribution boards and hotel electrical fixtures
- Support electrical equipment in theatres, lounges, entertainment venues and other guest areas within assigned competence
- Troubleshoot hotel-side electrical faults and replace defective components
- Assist with installation and refurbishment work during maintenance or dry dock
- Follow electrical isolation, lock-out/tag-out and permit-to-work procedures
- Coordinate access and repairs with the Hotel, Entertainment and Technical departments
You’ll bring
- A qualified or experienced Electrician suited to a hands-on rating role
- Previous cruise or passenger vessel, or large hotel or facilities electrical experience preferred
- Strong fault-finding skills on lighting, power outlets and hotel electrical installations
- Experience in guest-facing or entertainment environments is advantageous
- STCW certification, medical fitness and good English
