Carry out mechanical fitting, fabrication and repair work in support of Engine and Technical Department maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Fabricate, repair and modify metal components and supports
- Carry out cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting and mechanical workshop work
- Assist with pipework, machinery and structural repairs
- Use workshop machinery and hand tools safely
- Support planned maintenance, dry dock and corrective repairs
- Maintain tools, consumables and workshop housekeeping
You’ll bring
- Previous marine Fitter or industrial mechanical fitting experience
- Cruise or passenger vessel experience preferred
- Strong metalworking, fitting and fabrication skills
- Welding ability is advantageous where certified
- STCW certification, medical fitness and good English
