Maintain and repair the vessel’s domestic water, sanitary, drainage and associated plumbing systems throughout technical, crew and guest areas.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain fresh-water, grey-water, black-water and drainage pipework within assigned scope
- Repair toilets, sinks, showers, taps, valves, traps and fittings
- Diagnose leaks, blockages and pressure or flow problems
- Replace or modify pipework, valves and plumbing fittings
- Respond to plumbing defects in guest cabins, public areas, crew accommodation and service spaces
- Carry out planned maintenance and maintain tools, spares and work records
You’ll bring
- Professional plumbing experience; marine experience preferred
- Cruise or passenger vessel experience strongly preferred
- Good knowledge of sanitary and domestic-water systems
- Strong practical fault-finding and repair skills
- STCW certification, medical fitness and good English
