Maintain and repair commercial galley, pantry and food-service equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation throughout the vessel.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain ovens, ranges, grills, fryers, dishwashers, preparation and service equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, electromechanical and mechanical faults
- Carry out preventative maintenance, inspections and component replacement
- Support installation, testing and commissioning of galley equipment
- Coordinate defects and access with Galley, Hotel and Technical teams
- Maintain technical records and identify required spare parts
You’ll bring
- Previous commercial galley or catering equipment maintenance experience
- Cruise or passenger vessel experience strongly preferred
- An electrical or electromechanical qualification preferred
- Strong fault-finding capability on commercial catering equipment
- STCW certification, medical fitness and good English
