Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing food items according to recipes and instructions, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and waste control in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in daily briefings to understand operational needs and maintain service standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures, use PPE, and contribute to a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • This role is open to Malaysian/Singaporean citizen only.
  • Minimum Professional Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook or in a similar position at 4 or 5-star hotel and/or premium restaurant (upscale/fine-dining); basic culinary and knife handling skills required.
  • Good English fluency (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Previous cruise industry experience is an advantage.
