Job Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing food items according to recipes and instructions, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and waste control in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in daily briefings to understand operational needs and maintain service standards.
- Follow all safety procedures, use PPE, and contribute to a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- This role is open to Malaysian/Singaporean citizen only.
- Minimum Professional Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook or in a similar position at 4 or 5-star hotel and/or premium restaurant (upscale/fine-dining); basic culinary and knife handling skills required.
- Good English fluency (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
- Previous cruise industry experience is an advantage.
