Job Responsibilities
- Manage and operate a designated kitchen section independently.
- Prepare and cook Thai dishes in accordance with recipes and restaurant standards.
- Ensure consistency, taste, and presentation of all dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and workstations.
- Monitor stock levels and handle ordering of ingredients.
- Supervise and guide kitchen helpers to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support overall kitchen operations and service flow.
Qualifications
- This role is open to Malaysian citizens only.
- Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Must have recent relevant experience in Thai cuisine or relevant kitchen operations.
- Strong knowledge of Thai ingredients, flavours, and cooking techniques.
- Experience handling a specific kitchen section independently.
- Basic leadership experience in supervising junior kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety, stock management, and kitchen operations.
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
