Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate a designated kitchen section independently.
  • Prepare and cook Thai dishes in accordance with recipes and restaurant standards.
  • Ensure consistency, taste, and presentation of all dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and workstations.
  • Monitor stock levels and handle ordering of ingredients.
  • Supervise and guide kitchen helpers to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support overall kitchen operations and service flow.

Qualifications

  • This role is open to Malaysian citizens only.
  • Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Must have recent relevant experience in Thai cuisine or relevant kitchen operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai ingredients, flavours, and cooking techniques.
  • Experience handling a specific kitchen section independently.
  • Basic leadership experience in supervising junior kitchen staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety, stock management, and kitchen operations.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
