Carry out skilled seamanship, mooring, maintenance and deck-operational duties under the Bosun and Deck Officers.
Key responsibilities
- Perform mooring, unmooring, anchoring and general seamanship duties
- Carry out deck preservation, painting, greasing and maintenance
- Operate deck machinery and equipment within training and authorisation
- Support tender, gangway, lifesaving and passenger-vessel deck operations
- Guide junior ratings during routine work when assigned
- Participate fully in drills and emergency duties
You’ll bring
- Previous Able Seaman experience, preferably on cruise or passenger vessels
- Strong seamanship, mooring and deck-maintenance competence
- Appropriate STCW rating certification, including Able Seafarer Deck where required
- Valid medical fitness and the required travel documents
- Good working English
