Give Viking’s guests a warm, personalised stateroom experience, keeping their cabins spotless and beautifully presented throughout their voyage.
Key responsibilities
- Service 15 to 20 staterooms twice daily: beds, bathrooms, verandas, dusting, vacuuming and replenishing linens and amenities
- Report maintenance issues through the shipboard reporting system and keep cabins in perfect order
- Provide ice, laundry pick-up and delivery, shoeshine and minibar service
- Handle guest requests and complaints with discretion, protecting stateroom confidentiality and security
- Follow safe chemical handling, garbage separation and outbreak-prevention standards
- Help with luggage on embarkation and disembarkation days
You’ll bring
- Housekeeping / room-attendant experience to a high standard (servicing 15 to 20 rooms a day) at a 4/5-star hotel or deluxe operation; cruise experience preferred
- Physically fit, able to walk extensively, stand for long periods and handle 50+ lbs
- Good English and strong organisational skills
- Discreet, guest-focused and immaculately presented
