Key responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise public guest areas, back-of-house, crew areas, staircases and the launderette on day and night shifts
- Carry out floor care: vacuuming, polishing, shampooing, stripping and waxing with the right equipment
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and keep equipment in good working order, reporting faults
- Remove dishes and glassware from public areas and manage garbage separation to public-health standards
- Assist guests with directions and help with special deliveries and luggage on embarkation days
- Support the wider housekeeping team wherever operational needs arise
You’ll bring
- At least 1 year in cleaning / custodial work at a 4/5-star hotel, with floor-care experience using cleaning equipment; hotel or ship experience preferred
- Physically fit, able to walk extensively, stand for long periods and handle 50+ lbs
- Willing to work day and night shifts
- Good English and a guest-focused, flexible approach
