Maintain and repair HVAC, chilled-water, ventilation and refrigeration equipment serving guest, crew and operational spaces.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Troubleshoot air-handling units, fan coils, pumps, valves, compressors and controls
- Respond to cabin, public-area and machinery-space temperature or ventilation defects
- Check pressures, temperatures, refrigerant systems and operating performance
- Repair or replace mechanical components and associated fittings
- Maintain accurate records and observe environmental and refrigerant handling requirements
You’ll bring
- Experience as an HVAC, A/C or refrigeration mechanic
- Cruise or passenger vessel experience strongly preferred
- Strong fault-finding and practical mechanical skills
- A relevant HVAC or refrigeration qualification preferred
- STCW certification, medical fitness and good English
