Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent guest service, monitor guest flow, and prepare beverages according to guest preferences and company standards.
  • Ensure the bar is properly stocked, set up, and operating on schedule, with accurate stock control and cost monitoring.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of beverages, wines, and cocktail recipes, while promoting beverage events and upselling to increase revenue.
  • Supervise and guide the bar team to ensure professionalism, accurate charging, and awareness of ship events and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company alcohol policies, Public Health standards, and proper temperature logging, maintaining cleanliness at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the Head Bartender, report issues promptly, and support profit goals while maintaining quality service.

Qualifications

  • This role is open to Malaysian/Singaporean citizens only.
  • Minimum Professional Certificate in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Bartending or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Bartender or in a similar position in a 4/5 Star Hotel, premium bar, lounge, or upscale restaurant; basic knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar operations required.
  • Good English fluency (spoken and written)
  • Previous cruise industry experience is an advantage.
