Job Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain 15–20 guest staterooms twice daily to ensure the highest standards of comfort, cleanliness, and hygiene.
• Replenish linen, towels, amenities, glassware, coffee machines, and other stateroom supplies as required.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or deficiencies through the shipboard reporting system.
• Maintain the confidentiality, security, and proper care of all guest staterooms.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally in line with Viking’s service standards.
• Provide guest services, including ice delivery, laundry pick-up and delivery, and shoe-shine service.
• Handle cleaning products, housekeeping equipment, and waste disposal according to Public Health standards.
• Maintain excellent grooming, hygiene, uniform, and guest service standards at all times.
• Support team operations and perform additional duties as instructed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• This role is open to Malaysian/Singaporean citizen only.
• Experience in a 5-star deluxe ship or luxury hospitality environment.
• Housekeeping experience, including cleaning 15–20 rooms twice daily.
• Cruise industry experience is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to walk extensively, stand for long periods, and handle up to 50 lb / approximately 23 kg.
• Good English communication and organisational skills.
• Guest-focused, service-oriented, and professionally presented.
• Able to handle confidential guest information with discretion.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals, tools, and housekeeping equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Public Health policies and hygiene standards.
